Business Continuity Management (BCM) Training ‘Boot Camp’
in partnership with T-Systems
Do you know how your business would cope in a disaster?
Do you know what a disaster for your business would look like?
As much as we like to think we’re in control, sometimes the unpredictable happens and when it happens we need to be prepared.
You don‘t want to spend years building a profitable business to then see that business destroyed by an incident.
Business Continuity Management (BCM) will help your business:
- continue to provide your customers with required services or products, within an agreed time frame following a disaster;
- reduce your financial and operational consequences of significant business disruptions;
- identify your risks and strategies to reduce these risks;
- develop the knowledge and expertise in your business to manage the business from disruption back to ‘business as usual’
- create a selling point when targeting new business or increasing customer confidence;
- maintain, or improve its business reputation/market value after demonstrating effective recovery from a disaster situation.
So what it BCM?
- BCM is the activity performed by an organisation to ensure that critical business functions will be available to customers, suppliers, regulators, and other stakeholders – available even if a disaster strikes.
- But BCM is not something that you implement at the time of a disaster – its about putting processes, plans and solutions in place to protect the organisation before any future disaster.
